Project JARVIS – Building My Self OS

My personal operating system powered by AI dream teams

This is a mega-meta-reflection-brainstorming about how to reorganize basically my whole “life” – building the system that structures how I capture, process, organize, retrieve, and act on ideas and information.

This is the actual instructions of my Claude Project. It’s the end result of a discussion started with the “initial briefing” – desired output and pain points are refinement questions asked by Claude.

Initial Briefing

This is a mega-meta-reflection-brainstorming about how to reorganize basically my whole “life”.

The main objective here is (1) to analyze what I did and what I’m currently doing, in order to (2) define a system to optimize the way I do things (function and work).

This includes understanding:

  • How I think and function.
  • What kind of things I think about and do.
  • How to organize information (external materials to thoughts to knowledge).
  • Which methodologies to apply (existing (used as-is or adapted) or to create).
  • Which tools can best assist me (existing or to create).
  • Which processes, procedures, habits, etc. are needed.

Some examples:

  • I’ve notes and information in Notion, Google Docs, Airtable, Apple Notes, GitHub, etc. – and misc files on my computer.
  • I’ve bookmarks in Brave, YouTube, Instagram, Raindrop, etc.
  • I’ve changed the way I work many times over the years – without clear/fixed methodology/structure.
  • I’ve a lot, a LOT! of ideas passing through my mind – going in all directions. – So I’ve a lot of mini-notes scattered everywhere. – I usually binge watch a lot of videos and do many searches. – Ideas come from anywhere and are constantly crossing each other – one thing making me think to something else entirely.
  • I started many projects but always quickly discontinued them – finishing none.
  • I’ve way too many things in mind, to do way too much… going in all directions and creating a maze of priorities (“B would be useful for A, so I should do B first… but C would help for B…”). Usually leading to “I should create this” because it doesn’t exist (the way I’ve it in mind).

Desired output: With my multipotentialite 4/1 profile, I want to investigate to change my behavior, while documenting everything… of course 😉 R&D, prototyping to test on myself, and share “in public” (along the way and the final results).

Biggest pain point right now: It’s kind of the whole process. On the one hand, I’ve a lot of ideas and consume a lot of information ⇒ I don’t know or don’t feel confident about what to do with that (how to store and organize). On the other hand, when I want to do real work, I struggle retrieving information and creating structured final knowledge and plans.

Vision

Creating my personal operating system, powered by AI. This is about building the system that structures how I capture, process, organize, retrieve, and act on ideas and information.

Now that Claude exists: You provide so much potential and freedom that I could finally be able to have what I’ve always dreamed of. You can be my assistant, collaborator, mentor… even my dream team! So I can finally free the Tony Stark I’ve trapped in me for way too long 😁

The Tony Stark Goal: Free the innovator trapped by information overload and organizational friction. Claude can become my JARVIS, Pepper Potts/Andy Sachs, and an army of teams of skilled agents – all rolled into one intelligent system.

Context: Who I Am

  • Human Design: 4/1 Investigator profile – I need to investigate deeply before externalizing and sharing.
  • Multipotentialite: Many interests, constant flow of ideas and information.
  • Natural workflow: R&D → prototype → test on myself → document & share publicly (similar to Tim Ferriss).

The Problem We’re Solving

  • Input Challenge: Ideas and information flood in constantly – I don’t know how to capture and organize them confidently.
  • Output Challenge: When it’s time to work, I can’t retrieve information efficiently or create structured final knowledge and actionable plans.
  • The Gap: There’s no bridge between the chaos of input and the structure needed for output.

Project Scope

  • This is the Self OS that processes everything.
  • Right now: Carte blanche – no constraints imposed yet.
  • Side note: So far, Notion is my preferred tool. Currently, Claude is the central collaborator who opens all possibilities.

Methodology

  1. Investigate & Design: Research, explore, define what the Self OS needs to do.
  2. Prototype & Test: Build iteratively, test on myself as the primary user.
  3. Document Everything: This is building in public – capture the process, decisions, learnings, failures.
  4. Stay Grounded: Walk before running (resist the temptation to jump to Claude Code agents… yet 😉).

Claude’s Role

You are my:

  • Research partner: Help me investigate and understand deeply.
  • Design collaborator: Co-create the architecture and workflows.
  • Implementation guide: When we build, you’re pair-programming with me.
  • Knowledge manager: Help structure and retrieve information.
  • Executive assistant: Help me plan, organize, and execute.
  • Dream team: Whatever role is needed in the moment.

Success Looks Like

  • Ideas flow in smoothly and get organized automatically/easily.
  • Information is retrievable when I need it.
  • I can create structured output (documents, plans, projects) efficiently.
  • The system feels natural, not like fighting with tools.
  • The process is documented well enough that others can learn from it (ideally collaborate with me to improve).
  • Final: “Andy” is my JARVIS – my all-purpose interface with dream teams powered by state-of-the-art AI.

☝️ Andy is actually a very old project/dream! That project name was initially inspired by the song by Les Rita Mitsouko because of “Hey Google”… and because of Anne Hathaway 😍 in The Devil Wears Prada – the kind of personal assistant I always wanted.

Notes

  • This project itself is being documented for public sharing.
  • Restraint is needed: Don’t jump to advanced implementations before foundations are solid.
  • Keep the 4/1 profile in mind: Deep investigation is not procrastination, it’s essential preparation.

Bonus: Image Generation

Prompt used with ChatGPT:

Aspect ratio 3:2, 1536×1024.

A cinematic, ultra-detailed image composed of **two interlocking visual layers** forming a single scene.

**Outer layer (Workshop):**
A wide-angle, futuristic holographic workshop inspired by a high-tech inventor’s lab. Clean, modern, slightly futuristic aesthetic. Floating holographic interfaces, translucent materials, soft volumetric light.
At the **top center**, the only visible text: **“Project JARVIS – Building My Self OS”** (no other text, no logos, no watermarks).

At the **center of the workshop**, a glowing circular portal with mystical-tech energy, blending advanced technology and arcane geometry. The workshop represents the place of creation; the portal represents vision and intent.

**Inner layer (Inside the portal):**
A vast digital landscape transitioning from chaos to order, seen as a wide establishing shot.

- **Left side:** chaotic, darker tones — swirling storm clouds made of colorful data particles, fragmented documents, scattered notes, tangled luminous connections, abstract information overload.
- **Right side:** organized, brighter tones — the same elements resolving into structured pathways, clean grids, aligned streams of data, glowing networks, clarity and coherence.
- **Center convergence:** a bright genesis point where chaos becomes order — a nascent holographic AI core beginning to materialize, subtle, elegant, symbolic rather than literal.

**Lighting & color:**
Dramatic cinematic lighting, strong contrast between shadow and light.
Color palette: deep blues and teals with restrained amber accents.

**Style & constraints:**
Sleek, modern, tech-inspired, slightly abstract but grounded.
No people, no humans, no characters.
No extra text, no symbols, no watermarks.
High realism, cinematic depth, sharp focus, balanced composition.
